Care Support Worker

Mountfield, Norwich

£10.19 - £10.74  per hour

NorseCare provide award-winning and person-centred care services to a growing number of individuals across Norfolk and Suffolk, and are dedicated to creating positive and empowering environments for all of our residents and tenants.

Mountfield is our newly refurbished care home in Norwich, designed to support a variety of needs including specialist dementia care. As we are looking to provide more support to those in need, we are looking to recruit a number of casual Care Support Workers to support our dedicated and established team.

We have the opportunity for you to join the team on a permanent basis working full-time or part-time on days, part-time on nights or we can offer a casual contract supporting when you can. Either way, you will be part of a fantastic caring team and be given full support and training in the role.

Our team get the chance to make a huge impact on the lives of our residents, supporting their day-to-day needs as well as managing and delivering their long-term care plan. Our approach is tailored to the individual, so you will get the opportunity to get to know our residents on a personal basis, using that relationship to help shape their individual care. 

If you have previous experience and want to develop that with us then we can support you, however we are looking for people who share our core values and are passionate about delivering care services. If you are new to care, we are happy to provide support and training to those who share our values and are passionate about making a difference.

Your ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and residents will be key, and your willingness to go the extra mile will enable you to build relationships with our residents that support their needs.

*£100 will be payable at 3 months, a further £200 will be payable at 6 months subject to obtaining a contracted position working at least an average of 12 hours per week. This is also subject to successful performance, sickness reviews and completion of successful probation period. You will not be eligible for this bonus if you are currently an employee of the Norse Group.
