We have a fantastic opportunity for a Catering Assistant to join our team at Harker House in Long Stratton, working 24 hours per week on a permanent basis.

The benefits of eating quality, home-cooked meals are huge and as a Catering Assistant you would play a key part in the delivery of these meals, including;

  • Preparing fruit, vegetables and salads for meal services, as well as any other cooking responsibilities directed by the Cook Manager.
  • Maintaining the highest levels of hygiene and cleanliness across the kitchen and service areas.
  • Setting up of services areas and tidying away when service is complete.
  • Providing a helpful and enjoyable mealtime service for all residents delivery an excellent customer service experience.

What we are looking for from you:

Although previous catering experience would be an advantage, our extensive induction and excellent training programmes means that if you enjoy cooking and have a passion for good food, we can help you learn to adapt to a commercial catering environment!
