Norse Catering are currently recruiting for Mobile Cook Managers to join our team delivering exceptional service to our clients ensuring that mealtimes are something for our residents to look forward to.
This is a mobile role* where you will provide flexible cover to our clients across Norfolk or Suffolk on a part-time basis. If you are looking for a flexible role, we also have opportunities on a casual basis working as and when required.
Main Responsibilities will include:
As Mobile Cook Manager you will be responsible for implementing and coordinating catering processes including overseeing; hygiene, health & safety, employees, cleaning and waste control alongside;
- Assisting in the preparation, cooking and presentation of food to the highest standard
- Deputising in the absence of the Cook Manager
- Contributing to high levels of customer service
- Complying and having extensive knowledge of regulations regarding Health & Safety, ensuring that best food practices and hygiene procedures are adhered to
Ideal Skills and Experience:
You will have previous experience within a customer focussed role within a catering environment delivering an excellent service whilst also demonstrating:
- Excellent knowledge of Health & Safety regulations
- Proven record in managing a team
- Ability to make quick decisions and respond to changes in requirements at short notice to ensure client speciation’s are met
- Great communication skills
- Hold a full driving licence due to travel requirements of the role
