Commercial Gas Engineer – Infinity
£36,441.60 - £41,017.60 DoE

Infinity specialises in providing efficient property compliance and management services to a large number of commercial and residential clients across the Country. We have a fantastic career opportunity for a Commercial Gas Engineer to join our team based at our Infinity office (Barnsley) on a permanent basis, working 40 hours per week.

The Role

As a Commercial Gas Engineer, you will be responsible for providing a professional, high quality and customer orientated, mechanical engineering service to our clients. You will be required to proactively identify and undertake heating/combustion maintenance, installation and PPM works that exceeds current British standards. You will further be required to:

  • Diagnose and repair faults on systems and plant including basic electrical fault finding.
  • Carry out diagnostic fault finding on a wide range of installations and equipment.
  • Ensure that all test certificates and reports are completed to specification and signed by the appropriate person ready for submission to client/client agent.
  • Carry out plumbing and heating repairs and installations

Our Successful Candidate

  • City & Guilds (or equivalent) in a Heating and Ventilation
  • ACS Commercial and Domestic Gas
  • Experience of BMS systems
  • Significant previous experience in a similar service environment
  • Experience of commercial and domestic central heating/hot and cold-water systems
  • Familiar with relevant construction, health and safety legislation and risks and hazards associated with asbestos
  • Familiar with COSHH regulations
  • A full, clean UK drivers licence to meet travel requirements.
