The salary for this role is £22,308.00 pro rata which equates to £11.00 per hour. **£24,376.56 pro rata which equates to £12.02 per hour from 01/04/24**

Norse Catering are currently recruiting for a Mobile Cook Manager to join our team delivering exceptional service to our clients ensuring that mealtimes are something for our residents to look forward to.

This is a mobile role* where you will provide flexible cover to our clients between Old Buckenham – Poringland and the surrounding areas on a part-time basis.

Main Responsibilities will include:

As Mobile Cook Manager you will be responsible for implementing and coordinating catering processes including overseeing; hygiene, health & safety, employees, cleaning and waste control alongside;

  • Designing and implementing menus focused on utilising locally sourced and healthy produce
  • Managing and guiding  the catering team in preparing, cooking and presenting  food to the highest standard, taking  ‘hands on’ approach.
  • Deputising in the absence of the Cook Manager.
  • Excellent knowledge of Health and Safety regulations ensuring that best food practices and hygiene procedures are adhered to.
  • Contributing to high levels of customer service.
  • Complying and having extensive knowledge of regulations regarding Health & Safety, ensuring that best food practices and hygiene procedures are adhered to.

Ideal Skills and Experience:

You will have previous experience within a customer focussed role within a catering environment delivering an excellent service whilst also demonstrating:

  • Excellent knowledge of Health & Safety regulations
  • Proven record in managing a team
  • Ability to make quick decisions and respond to changes in requirements at short notice to ensure client speciation’s are met
  • Great communication skills
  • Hold a full driving licence due to travel requirements of the role
