Receptionist – South West Norse

  • Location: County Hall, Exeter, EX2 4QD
  • Salary: £22,672.00 pro rata, equating to £10.90 per hour
  • Hours per week: 10
  • Shift pattern: Monday and Tuesday, 07:00am-12:00pm

South West Norse represents the highly successful joint venture partnership between Norse Group and Devon County Council, providing a range of facilities management and contract services across the South West region. We currently have an excellent opportunity for a Receptionist to join our team at County Hall in Exeter on a permanent, part-time basis.

The Role:

As Receptionist, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and resolving queries at first point of call wherever possible. Your duties will also consist of:

  • Supporting our Facilities Management team with general administrative and clerical tasks such as updating and maintaining information systems, including the helpdesk works orders.
  • Assisting with the financial procedures by raising orders, processing invoices, analysing and maintaining information.
  • Coordinating arrangements for meeting room bookings and taking responsibility for the smooth operation of the process
  • Managing of security and smartcard systems, including issuing and maintenance of smart cards.

We are looking for a confident, enthusiastic and focused individual to ensure our professional services are delivered alongside:

  • Previous customer service experience
  • Self-motivated, able to work under own initiative.
  • Able to plan, organise and prioritise work effectively
  • Excellent IT skills including ability to troubleshoot in respect of IT equipment
  • Able to work flexibly to meet the demands of the job/operational requirements.
