Relief Cleaner (Barnsley)
Casual hours
£11.44 Per hour

Barnsley Norse is working in partnership with Barnsley Borough Council to deliver a comprehensive range of first-class cleaning services across the local areas.

Our casual contracts offer you great flexibility, as you will work hours through prior agreement with your manager and can base this around other commitments, with both morning and afternoon shifts available. You will get diversity within the role as you will support a number of sites and teams, giving you the chance to interact with a range of colleagues and clients.

Our successful candidate 

Previously working in a commercial cleaning environment would be beneficial, however we are happy to provide training and support. You will need to be able to demonstrate;

  • Ability to work individually and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills
  • Good eye for detail, capable of delivering a high level of customer service
  • Able to follow written and verbal instruction clearly
  • Ability and flexibility to support a number of sites, ideally holding a full UK driving licence and/or able to travel as required

Our Successful Candidate:

We will ideally be looking for you to demonstrate previous cleaning or caretaking experience in a previous role, alongside; 

  • Knowledge of basic site health & safety 
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of building relationships with our clients on-site 
  • Confident working independently to your own initiative
  • Good organisational skills, with attention to detail
