The salary for this role is £21,131.76 pro rata which equates to £10.42 per hour.

Norse Catering have the exciting opportunity for a Mobile Catering Assistant to join the team working in schools in Norwich and the surrounding areas, this will include travelling to various locations, so a full driving licence and your own vehicle is essential to meet the criteria of the role.

This opportunity is available on a permanent basis working 10 hours per week, Monday to Friday between the hours of 1000-1400 during term-time.

As a Catering Assistant, you will be expected to support all aspects of the catering service, from helping with food preparation, supporting meal service and maintaining the kitchen and equipment. Our experienced cooking team can offer you training and development within a commercial catering environment, getting you more involved with cooking and meal creation.

Your Experience:

  • Commercial catering or hospitality experience is desirable
  • Excellent communication skills, confident engaging with a range of individuals
  • Ability to work effectively within a team
  • Capable of keeping to strict deadlines and quality standards
  • Any knowledge of kitchen health & safety would be advantageous

All salaries for part-time positions are worked out pro-rata of the full-time equivalent salary shown in the advert, calculated on your contracted hours per week.
