NPS Leeds are looking for a Chartered Quantity Surveyor to join their team on a permanent, full-time basis.
As a Chartered Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for providing Quantity Surveying services an excellent standard from inception through to completion, alongside providing support and advice to a team of Surveyors ensuring clients receive professional advice.
Main Responsibilities will include:
- Assisting in the project management of schemes by setting objectives, providing direction and advice on related matters.
- Negotiating contract sums and preparing high quality tender documentation such as pricing/cost breakdowns.
- Issuing progress reports as required.
- Preparing final accounts and agreeing with contractor, including verifying claims and dealing with audit procedures.
- Assisting Contract Administrators in the preparation of AI's, evaluation of claims for extensions of time.
Our Successful Candidate:
- Extensive experience within a construction consultancy environment and be able to provide suitable references.
- Will be degree educated in a Construction related field.
- Chartered membership of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Knowledge of latest CDM Regulations.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Holds a current site card or is prepared to immediately attain.
- Hold a full UK Driving Licence.
