Grounds Chargehand

Norse South East focusses on delivering key frontline services across the local area, undertaking waste management and grounds maintenance as part of its portfolio.
As we continue to deliver key public services, we are currently looking to recruit a Ground Chargehand to work from our Havant depot, delivering services to the surrounding area. Your role will involve a number of different grounds maintenance tasks, tackling a number of different public areas.
You will deployed both individually and in teams as required, and be provided with training, support and equipment to deliver grass cutting, cleaning and general tidying of the local area.
The Role:
This is a full time, permanent role offering 37hours per week, Monday to Friday.
Our Successful Candidate:
We are ideally looking for individuals with previous experience in a grounds maintenance position, we will provide training and support if you can demonstrate transferrable skills, including;
- Ability to work effectively as an individual and as part of a team
- Confident engaging with members of the public
- Good attention to detail
- Experience delivering a high level of customer service
- Full UK driving licence
