£45,194.24 - £47,791.08 DoE

Infinity specialises in providing efficient property compliance and management services to a large number of commercial clients across the Country. We have a fantastic career opportunity for a Commercial Operations Manager to join our team operating in our Wigan and Barnsley offices on a permanent basis.

The Role:

The Commercial Operations Manager will be responsible for the overall management of the Business Support team. You will provide the operational departments with a support system that will allow them to operate effectively and efficiently, maximising profitability while maintaining a high-quality service. Reporting directly into the Head of Infinity, you will be responsible for the financial performance of this business with a focus on achieving financial targets and expanding the market share. Duties will include:

  • Overseeing all aspects of quality management for the business support team to ensure we are compliant with our accreditations and Norse Group Policies
  • Continually monitoring budgets across the division to ensure that profit margins and targets are achieved and maintained.
  • Working closely with contract and project managers to ensure that all works are actively managed within the operational systems
  • Negotiating NEC and JCT contracts with clients to ensure achievement of the best possible terms that allow margins to be maintained and risk to be reduced
  • Actively managing contract risk and ensuring that potential risks are identified early and rectified and minimised.

Our Successful Candidate:

This is a key role within Infinity and therefore our ideal candidate will be an excellent leader that can demonstrate extensive previous experience within a similar role, ideally within the building sector.  

We will also be looking for you to evidence:

  • Strong understanding of property and facilities management (FM) services
  • Financial management experience, both production and management of budgets
  • Proven record of managing a high performing team, promoting a quality focused approach
  • Experience in reviewing setting prices for goods and services so that all costs are recovered, and profit margins are achieved.
  • Experience of subcontractor engagement to negotiate the best price for goods and services and produce and monitor SLA’s
  • Strong understanding of project and risk management
  • Full UK Drivers Licence to meet travel requirements
