Business Development Consultant (Hybrid) 
£42,762.30
37 hours per week

Norse Groups Support Services Division has an exciting opportunity within our Sales and Bids team for a Business Development Consultant to drive our growth strategy and support our business objectives on a permanent basis, working 37 hours per week.

The role

As Business Development Consultant, you will be responsible for implementing and executing our client acquisition strategy and ensuring individual client accounts experience revenue and service line growth. Reporting directly to the Group Business Development Director, you will act as a trusted business partner to deeply understand our clients' challenges and goals. You will thrive on developing new relationships and driving business conversations and profitable growth for Norse Consulting and the wider Group.

This role is being offered on a hybrid basis which will require travel across the Eastern Corridor, it's a national role within England so location of your base is flexible. 

Our Successful Candidate:

You will have a passion for professional services consultancy in the built environment and have experience working with the public sector and Local Government, alongside; 

  • Proven Sales experience in a previous Business Development (or similar) role
  • Experience of selling public/private sector services 
  • Management of successful sales projects, that result in client capture
  • Previous experience in preparing proposals/formal bids and tenders
  • Fantastic communication skills, both verbal and written with the ability to build strong, professional working relationships
  • Full UK Driving Licence to meet the travel requirements of the role
