NPS Leeds is the joint venture partnership between NPS and Leeds County Council, providing innovative projects and excellent value to our clients.

We’re currently looking for a Building Maintenance Engineering Surveyor to join our growing team. In the role you will be inspecting properties in accordance with set frequencies, identifying and dealing with building and engineering maintenance items on a prioritized basis.

You will need to prepare reports that comply with technical and contractual requirements, for working/using building management data systems. You will also be liaising with internal and external stakeholders, on the implementation of repair and improvement projects.

As well as providing an efficient consultancy service you will also be required to:

  • Complete all planned works within the agreed budget and time frames
  • Demonstrate both mechanical & electrical qualifications / knowledge
  • Ensure property inspections are carried out with the identification of servicing, day-to-day and planned repairs as well as future replacements to M&E installations

Our Ideal Candidate:

  • Professional membership of Chartered Institute of Building Service Engineers
  • HNC/HND or equivalent in a building services related discipline
  • Hold a current site card or be prepared to immediately attain
  • Experience in a similar or related role
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Familiar with relevant Construction, Health & Safety legislation and familiar with risks and hazards associated with asbestos
  • Relevant experience in preparation and management of the engineering maintenance of a variety of types of buildings
  • A full UK driving license will be required to meet the travel requirements of the role
