Caretaker - South West Norse

  • Location: Ugborough Primary School, PL21 0NJ
  • Salary: £22,360.00 pro rata – Equates to £10.75 per hour
  • Hours per week: 25
  • Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday, 06.30-08.30 and 15.30-18.30

South West Norse is an FM provider delivery support services to businesses across catering, cleaning, and facilities management disciplines across the south west region. We currently have a great opportunity for a Caretaker to join our established team at Ugborough Primary School on a permanent, part-time basis.

Role

As a Caretaker You will be working on-site under the direction of an area supervisor, ensuring the site and grounds are cleaned and maintained to contractual standards. You will be responsible for equipment and products used in carrying out your role, including inventory and safe storage.

This position will also hold further site management duties, and you will be expected to support with general maintenance issues as well as being responsible for site security and some minor handyman duties.

Your Experience:

  • Ideally, you will have commercial cleaning or caretaking experience in a previous role
  • Capable of delivering a high level of customer service
  • Confident working both on your own and as part of a team
  • Good interpersonal skills, capable of building rapport with the client
  • Comfortable engaging with members of the public
  • Any knowledge of health & safety guidelines relevant to the role would be an advantage
