Associate HR Business Partner -  (Maternity Cover)

£35,000 to £40,276

37 Hours per week

Norse Groups HR department have an exciting opportunity for an Associate HR Business Partner to join our Support Services Team at our Head office on Fifers Lane, Norwich. 

This position is being offered on full time, fixed term contract for 1 year covering maternity leave, you'll be required to work 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

The role

As Associate HR Business Partner, you will be responsible for providing support for all operational business area's in your remit. Your portfolio will consist of our Highways, TFM, Cleaning and Catering divisions so previous experience within these disciplines would be advantageous. 

Working alongside the Strategic Business Partner you will focus on building and maintaining effective HR partnering relationships, ensuring the provision of high quality, consistent and proactive advice inline with best practice. alongside this you will; 

  • Nurturing a positive performance management culture across the Group including promoting organisational development activities
  • Developing and reviewing Group policies and procedures ensuring the business remains complaint with academic lifecycle, HR policies, employment law and current HR best practice
  • Working closely with HR Business Partners, supporting change management programmes, and people management skills by supporting and coaching managers and employees

Our successful candidate

  • CIPD Level 5 or equivalent degree level relevant qualification
  • Extensive experience within a similar role in a large organisation, including delivering HR projects that support strategy development and implementation into a similar business environment
  • Previous experience of supporting the design, consultation, delivery and embedding of organisational change.
  • Excellent generalist HR knowledge, including in-depth knowledge of HR practices and legislation, employment law and best practice
  • Articulate communication style, with the ability to engage confidentially with all levels across the business and deliver complex communications transparently and effectively
  • Full UK Driving Licence to meet travel requirements of the role
