A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Mechanical Engineer to join NPS Leeds on a permanent basis. As a Mechanical Engineer you will be responsible for the design and management of Mechanical services for all construction projects across a variety of building works.

Your role will be to design and mange Mechanical Services including producing budget estimates, drawings, detailed service specifications, tender documentation and undertaking full contract administration duties on Mechanical led projects. You will be required to promote continuous improvement and deliver demonstrable high quality products and services which embrace quality standards.

Our Successful Candidate will:

  • Have professional membership of the Chartered Institute of Building Service Engineers and be working or prepared to work towards Chartered status.
  • Have previous management/ Supervisory experience.
  • Hold Membership of the Engineering Council
  • Have a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in an Mechanical Engineering related discipline
  • Hold a current site card or is prepared to immediately attain.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Have experience of successfully project managing alteration and refurbishment projects from inception through to final account. Including surveying.
  • Working Knowledge of Standard forms of Building Service’s Contracts
  • Driving Licence as frequent travel to sites.
