Cleaning Operative - Medway Council

The salary for this role is £18,643.56 pro rata which equates to £9.69 per hour

Medway Norse is part of Norse Group’s impressive portfolio of joint ventures, providing a range of services in partnership with Medway Council. We specialise in delivering a number of front-line services to the public, including transport, waste management and facilities management.

We support a number of local sites and businesses with commercial cleaning services and are currently looking to recruit a Cleaner at Medway Council in Chatham, working 10 hours per week 18:00-20:00 Monday to Friday.

You will be working on-site to deliver cleaning and hygiene services to contracted standards, undertaking a range of routine cleaning tasks in all areas of the site. On occasion, you will be required to perform some specialist cleaning as directed by the supervisor or client. You will be provided with all relevant tools and equipment to maintain the site and premises.

Your Experience:

Whilst we would ideally be looking for someone with commercial cleaning experience, we are happy to offer training and support in the role. 

You will need to be able to demonstrate the ability to work effectively both within a team and individual work environment, with excellent communication skills. 

Maintaining a high level of customer service and quality is essential to our partnership, so you should have good attention to detail and customer service skills to support this.
