Our Barnsley office currently have an excellent career opportunity for an experienced Fire Alarm Engineer to join the team. You will be responsible for providing professional high quality and customer orientated fire protection systems & emergency lighting service to customers.

The Role

To work from detailed commercial, electrical design drawings and circuit diagrams carrying out service, repair and installations to the requirements of BS5839 & BS5266. You will test and inspect of fire alarm installations to current regulations/ requirements and take appropriate remedial action where required.

You will have:

  • Recognised training by FIA or other professional body in BS5839 2017 Part 1
  • Recognised training BS5266 Part 1 Emergency Lighting Systems
  • Proven experience within the industry and an in-depth knowledge of commercial Installations and fault finding.
  • Full Clean UK Driving Licence.
  • 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations is desirable
