Mobile Catering Assistant

Norfolk

£9.50 per hour

Norse Group are a specialist catering provider across Norfolk and Suffolk, focussed on delivering a service that is based around providing quality and nutrition to residents. We operate multiple on-site and mobile teams throughout the regions to ensure we can continue to deliver a great service.

We are recruiting for passionate, and hardworking professionals to join our team as a Mobile Catering Assistants providing support in our school kitchens throughout Norfolk, this may include travelling to various kitchens.  

Working as a Mobile Catering Assistant within our Care Homes provides you with a homely environment where you can develop your knowledge and skills supported by the rest of the team and senior management to build a career in the industry.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, cook and serve meals from our fantastic, locally sourced menu.
  • Help to maintain the high standards of customer service we set ourselves.
  • Keep the kitchen and services areas clean, tidy and hygienic and all times.
  • Help to purchase and source sundries, fresh produce and cleaning supplies when necessary.

This position is available on a casual basis working as and when required to cover sickness and annual leave.  Due to the travel requirements of the role a full driving licence is desirable.

Our Successful Candidate:

Ideally you will have previous experience within a catering environment however this is not essential as full training can be provided.

It is vital that our successful candidate demonstrates;

  • Excellent ability to deliver exceptional customer service
  • Capability of working to your own initiative as an individual and as part of a team
  • Great communication skills and proactive approach to work
  • A full driving licence due to travel requirements of the role
