Senior Mechanical Engineer - Exeter

Salary - £42,000

Our Exeter based team operate across a number of disciplines, including provide expert mechanical engineering services to new build and refurbishment projects.

As a result of a substantial and growing project pipeline, we are looking to recruit a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team based in Exeter, Devon. Working within our professional consulting team, you will provide expertise for mechanical services installation and development within large collaborative projects as well as leading mechanically focused projects.

You will have the responsibility of taking the design lead for mechanical services, delivery detailed service specifications that promote sustainability and the use of renewable technologies. You will benefit from a Group ethos of delivering innovation, providing solutions that meet client requirements, industry regulations and our own high-quality standards.

We will provide you with access to the latest design software’s, alongside being motivated by a team that has a truly collaborative approach to multi-disciplined project delivery.

Your existing knowledge, experience and skills will be essential for you to make an impact to our project delivery, and we are looking for someone who can combine this with a passion for continuous personal and professional development.

The key things we are looking for are;

  • Proven experience of delivering innovative mechanical engineering design solutions across a range of projects
  • Experience of undertaking all aspects of mechanical engineering services, including surveys and design specifications
  • An industry recognised qualification and/or professional membership, either through a relevant higher level qualification, the Chartered Institution of Building Service Engineers (CIBSE), Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE) or equivalent
  • Excellent communication skills, comfortable engaging with clients and colleagues to provide advice
