NPS Leeds are looking for a Chartered Quantity Surveyor to join their team. As a Chartered Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for providing Quantity Surveying services to the appropriate high standard from inception through to completion. Provide support and advice to a team of surveyors ensuring clients receive professional advice.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the project management of schemes by setting objectives, providing direction and advice on related matters.
  • Negotiating contract sums and preparing high quality tender documentation such as pricing/cost breakdowns
  • Issuing progress reports as required
  • Prepare final accounts and agree with contractor, including verifying claims and dealing with audit procedures
  • Assist Contract Administrators in the preparation of AI's, evaluation of claims for extensions of time

Our Successful Candidate:

  • Extensive experience within a construction consultancy environment and be able to provide suitable references.
  • Will be degree educated in a Construction related field - With a desire for chartership or current membership being advantageous.
  • Professional membership of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and be working or prepared to work towards Chartered status
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Knowledge of latest CDM Regulations.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Holds a current site card or is prepared to immediately attain
  • Hold a full UK Driving Licence
