Structural Engineer - London

Salary - £43,400

HBS is a specialist property and construction consultancy, providing expertise in architecture, surveying, building services engineering and strategic development across a wide range of projects. HBS works with both public and private sector clients and has a growing client base across the UK, operating from various locations.

Due to an ever increasing Structural and Civil Engineering workload we currently have an opportunity within our London and South East Engineering team. Whilst appropriate skills and experience is necessary, we remain open to a range of Engineering candidates including:

  • Structural Engineer’s
  • Civil Engineer’s
  • Engineering Technician’s

You will join a multi-disciplined property consulting team and support the delivery of a portfolio of new build and refurbishment projects. We work in partnership with our clients to provide innovation in our projects, as well as promoting sustainability and commercial viability through expert advice.

Depending on your experience, you will be helping to deliver structural and/or civil design and management services across all project stages, including feasibility,  design development, detailed design and inspection activities.

Our Successful Candidate;

We will be looking for you to demonstrate;

  • Professional /Chartered membership, or commitment to work towards
  • Higher level qualification (bachelor’s degree or equivalent) in an engineering (or related) discipline
  • Experience working in a professional engineering team, ideally delivering a range of new build and refurbishment projects across the public and private sector
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of building effective relationships with colleagues and clients
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multi-disciplined property consulting team
