Suffolk Coastal Norse are currently looking for an Arborist to join our team in Lowestoft, you will be responsible for the arboricultural management and maintenance service.

You will be carrying out tree surgery works in line with the British Standards, using full safety and climbing equipment and in accordance with NPTC certification. All works that are carried out will need to align with our quality and financial objectives, as well as ensuring that members of staff and the public are safe at all times.

Strong communicational skills are needed as you will be liaising with stakeholders and customers regularly, as well as good time keeping skills. You will need to ensure that all mechanical equipment is maintained, carrying out daily servicing and checks.

This is a full time, permanent position. You will be working Monday – Friday, from 07:30 – 15:30 and 07:30 – 15:00 on a Friday.

Our ideal candidate:

  • NPTC Certification to CS30, CS31, CS38 & CS39.
  • Knowledge of modern arboriculture practices
  • Experience in undertaking tree work near the highway and in confined locations
  • Experience working closely with members of the public
  • Knowledge of all relevant health and safety acts, procedures & experience of risk assessments
  • Full UK driving license with B+E entitlements
