Our Facilities Management N'able division are currently recruiting for an experienced assistive technology technician to assess, fit and install assistive technology (AT) equipment for Norfolk County Council and retail customers.

You will install adaptations and equipment in customer homes as per contracts, service and maintain assistive technology for Norfolk County Council. This position will be to cover Norwich and Waveney so a Full UK driving Licence is essential and willingness to travel. 

You must ensure the safe and correct installation and positioning of the required equipment and adaptations as requested by prescribers and demonstrate the operation and maintenance of the equipment to service users, relatives or carers.

You will have:

  • Extensive experience in a similar role – Service, Installation and/or Maintenance Technician
  • Experience in the installation and Maintenance of stair lifts and overhead hoists. 
  • Knowledge of Health and Safety regulations. 
  • Ability to plan, manage and prioritise workload.
