  • Location: Culmstock Primary School, Wellington, EX15 3LB
  • Salary: £19,760.00 pro rata Equates to £9.50 per hour
  • Hours: 10
  • Shift pattern: Monday – Friday: 16:00 – 18:00 Term time only

South West Norse is a successful commercial service partnership between Norse Group and Devon County Council, delivering expertise across cleaning, catering and facilities management disciplines.

We currently have a great opportunity for a Cleaner to join our established team at Culmstock Primary School on a permanent, part-time basis.

The Role

Working both independently and within a close team, you will be responsible for carrying out day to day routine and ad-hoc cleaning services as defined by the Cleaning Supervisor, ensuring that the necessary standards are met and operating in line with Client and Norse Policies and Procedures.

Whilst maintaining hygiene levels is an important part of site safety across all communal areas, this consumer facing role will require you to deliver high standard of customer service to the clients across the facility.

Our Successful Candidate

If you have previously worked within a commercial cleaning environment then this would be an advantage however, at Norse we can offer full training and support for enthusiastic individuals if you can demonstrate:

  • Ability to work to defined standards in a quality driven environment
  • Good communication skills, capable of building relationships with colleagues, clients and members of the public
  • Comfortable working independently to your own initiative as well as being part of a team
  • Good attention to detail, able to delivery a high level of customer service
