Mobile Catering Assistant

Norfolk

Part-Time

The salary for this role is £19,266 pro rata per annum which equates to £9.50 per hour.

Norse Catering work in partnership with a growing number of schools, care homes and businesses across the Norfolk and Suffolk region to deliver meal services throughout the day. Utilising local and fresh produce.

Norse deliver an exceptional customer service whilst ensuring nutrition and variety for their clients. We operate a number of on-site and mobile teams throughout the regions to ensure we can continue to deliver a great service.

We have the exciting opportunity for a Mobile Catering Assistant to join the team working in schools throughout Norfolk, covering areas surrounding Wroxham and North Walsham. As this role will include travelling to various locations, a full driving licence and your own vehicle is essential to meet the criteria of the role.

This is a permanent, part-time role working 12.5 hours per week, Mon-Fri 10:00-14:00 during term-time.

As a Catering Assistant, you will be expected to support all aspects of the catering service, from helping with food preparation, supporting meal service and maintaining the kitchen and equipment. Our experienced cooking team can offer you training and development within a commercial catering environment, getting you more involved with cooking and meal creation.

Your Experience:

Whilst we would ideally like you to have experience within a previous catering, hospitality or kitchen environment we are happy to provide full on-site training to the right individuals.

Our service levels are driven by high quality standards, and your ability to identify and meeting quality standards or customer services levels will be key.

All salaries for part-time positions are worked out pro-rata of the full-time equivalent salary shown in the advert, calculated on your contracted hours per week.
