Due to an increase in workload, we are seeking a Trainee Water Hygiene Technician to join the Infinity team based in Huddersfield.

As a Trainee Water Hygiene Technician, you will travel to different locations within the within your designated area, shadowing an experienced Technician whilst undertaking technical services and functions of water hygiene. You will be responsible for carrying out the professional functions of water hygiene, monitoring, control and management of Legionella, assisting in carrying out legionella risk assessments, tank inspections, TMV servicing, annual inspections and monthly temperature taking.

You will undertake relevant training to then become a qualified Water Hygiene Technician where services will include - Providing and raising of awareness of client’s responsibilities with regards to water hygiene and legionella, monitoring of quality systems and assist with creating detailed schematic drawings of the water system within various building types.

Our Successful Candidate:

  • Possess a C&G 2 in Plumbing and Heating would be desirable
  • Be prepared to undertake training and qualifications such as legionella & H&S
  • BS002 Cleaning and Disinfectant of Water Systems and BS004 – Risk Assessing is desirable
  • Familiar with relevant construction, health and safety legislation, and risks and hazards associated with asbestos
  • Ability to produce and communicate technical information verbally and in writing
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Full UK driving licence
